“ Reg, cheese burger and fries. We're excellent fiance had double cheese burger and taters tots. We brought a coke between us fresh and strong. Good and fresh. Tasty. . ”
“ Hi-Boy has daily specials that consist of discounts/free based on purchase of certain sides with sandwhich entree. This particular Tuesday was their 1/4 cheeseburger which included any size free drink with purchase of regular side. I purchased fries and with my cheese burger and added miracle whip with tomatoes, lettuce and ketchup. You can add a variety of condiments, of your choosing. Service from time of order to pickup was about 8 minutes with 3 other people after me. You can eat in the parking lot and there is no dine-in, this is more of a bigger than most hamburger joint, but with decent room for 10-12 people to order from inside at 1 of 2 registers. ”

“ We don't eat anything but ice cream here, because when we visit Independence, we eat at Mugs Up. The service has always been great at Hi Boy, and last time we were there, the employee overfilled my hot fudge sundae. I asked him to clean up the outside of the cup, but the manager told him to just make another one, which I appreciated. ”

“ ANYTHING you get off their menu is worth it. Omg do not get me started with their Cherry limeades!! Always speedy service, and daily specials. With an open parking lot, you can hang out with friends and family while you eat. On Tuesdays, if you come in with your HI Boy shirt, you get a free side :) I've gotten to know the owner personally, and he goes the extra mile for every aspect of his business. Game days are their busiest days since the KC Stadiums are close by. Overall great experience and excellent customer service, if you have not tried Hi-boy I highly 100% recommend it! ”
“ This place is about as old school as it gets. Walk up to a waiting person in the little windows. Order from a fairly standard menu of American style burgers, fries and other fried items. Seems normal enough and then you try the food. . .Delicious and hard to beat in my opinion. It's one of those type of things like going to the fairgrounds and it seems like a little food truck couldn't be that good. Then it hits the spot and you wish you were still hungry so you could eat more. Double hi boy burger and onion rings for the win. ”
